Summer Bird removed from Ice’s barn

The DRF and Blood-Horse have each reported that Drs. K.K. Jayaraman and Vilasini Jayaraman have removed 25 of their horses from trainer Tim Ice’s barn, including 3-year-old champion Summer Bird. According to their NTRA bio, the Jayaramans have gone through 82 public and seven private trainers over the years and K.K. Jayaraman even tried training himself, only to fire himself admitting that “training horses was harder than being a cardiologist.”
