It’s official: Zenyatta in Classic

About an hour before the draw for the Breeders’ Cup got underway, owner Jerry Moss confirmed his champion mare Zenyatta will start in Saturday’s Classic.
Zenyatta’s camp had indicated last week they would likely face the boys and Moss said the mare’s strong progress of late sealed the deal.
“Based on her last few works she has certainly shown us she’s ready to perform,” Moss said. “We think she deserves a chance.”
