A chestnut colt by A.P. Indy became the third seven-figure yearling of the Keeneland September sale when it sold for $1 million to bloodstock agent Demi O’Byrne on behalf of Coolmore Stud.
The colt, consigned by Hill ‘n’ Dale Sales, is out of the Grade I winning mare Madcap Escapade and is a half brother to recent Grade I winner Mi Sueno.
“She’s started off well,” O’Byrne said of Madcap Escapade. “I liked the horse, this was my favorite horse here because of his appearance and his pedigree.”
